Playing in a packed arena in Cluj-Napoca, Dubai faced a team known for strong home performances and constant pressure. The hosts stayed competitive for most of the night, but Dubai’s depth and execution over 40 minutes made the difference, particularly late in the game.

A key storyline was the return of Džanan Musa, who stepped back onto the court after a three-month absence. While he was not the team’s leading scorer, his impact came at a decisive moment. During a strong fourth-quarter push from Cluj-Napoca, Musa delivered a timely three-pointer and followed it with made free throws to stop the momentum and re-establish control for Dubai.
