Dubai Basketball continued their impressive start to the AdmiralBet ABA League season with a hard-earned 79:83 victory on the road against Krka in Ljubljana. The visitors once again demonstrated their quality and composure, maintaining their perfect record and securing their fourth consecutive win in Group A.

From the opening tip, Dubai imposed its trademark fast-paced and offensive-minded style, quickly establishing an eight-point advantage after the first quarter. However, the hosts refused to back down. Krka capitalized on Dubai’s slower second period, cutting the deficit to just two points by halftime and even coming close to taking the lead before the break.

The momentum remained balanced in the third quarter as both sides traded baskets and defensive stops. Krka managed to level the score, setting the stage for a tense final ten minutes.

With the outcome still uncertain, Dubai showed the resilience and focus that have defined their unbeaten run. A decisive scoring run midway through the last quarter gave them an eight-point cushion with just over three minutes remaining. Krka answered with a pair of three-pointers from Oman and Šrekar, closing the gap once again.

As the clock wound down, Krka had a chance to complete their comeback, but Smrekar’s missed shot for the lead proved costly. Dubai punished the error with a crucial three-pointer from Kabengele, restoring control. In the closing seconds, Krka managed to cut the margin to two, but two composed free throws from Nemanji Dangubić sealed the win for the visitors.

Dwayne Bacon led Dubai’s scoring effort with 19 points, while Kosta Kondić added 13. Kabengele contributed 11 points, also grabbing nine rebounds.

With this victory, Dubai Basketball remains one of only four undefeated teams in the ABA League, alongside Igokea m:tel, Partizan Mozzart Bet, and Spartak Office Shoes.
