Dwayne Bacon and Mfiondu Kabengele have been selected to the ABA League Best Starting Five for the 2025/26 season, following outstanding performances across both phases of the competition, the regular season and the Top 8.

The Dubai Basketball duo earned the recognition through votes from coaches, media and fans, highlighting their impact throughout the campaign.

They played a key role in Dubai Basketball finishing as the top team in the competition with a 21–3 record, securing the No. 1 seed for the playoffs.

Bacon averaged 15.1 points and 3.9 rebounds for a 15.2 PIR in 19 games, while Kabengele recorded 13.3 points, 5.5 rebounds and a 16.1 PIR in 17 minutes per game across 21 appearances.

The team, coached by Aleksander Sekulić, will learn its quarterfinal opponent on May 3, facing the winner of the game between Igokea and Spartak Subotica.
