Dubai Basketball has signed Malian center Soumaila Keita (2010, 2.12m), one of the most promising young players of his generation. Keita joins the club from Casademont Zaragoza, where he combined his development at youth level with appearances in the Spanish U22 League during the 2025/26 season.

Keita was one of the standout players in Spanish youth basketball last season. He was named MVP of the 2026 Spanish U16 Championship, where he finished as the tournament’s top scorer and rebounder after averaging 28.5 points, 13 rebounds and 36.3 PIR per game.

The young center joins Dubai Basketball as a long-term project and will continue his development with the club’s Elite Team. His arrival is part of Dubai Basketball’s commitment to identifying and developing young talent, providing players with a pathway to grow within the club and prepare for the highest level of European basketball.
