Dubai Basketball Stay Perfect at 15–0 with Home Win Over Igokea m:tel
Dubai Basketball continued their flawless run in the AdmiralBet ABA League by defeating Igokea m:tel 94:78 in Round 17, extending their perfect league record to 15–0 and remaining firmly at the top of the standings.
Playing at Coca-Cola Arena, Dubai controlled the game for most of the night and gradually built separation through consistency on both ends of the floor. The hosts moved ahead early and never relinquished control, securing another double-digit victory in the regional competition.
Dubai set the tone in the opening quarter, pulling away late to establish a 31:21 advantage. Igokea stayed competitive through the second period, limiting the margin and heading into halftime down 44:37. However, the turning point came immediately after the break, when Dubai raised the intensity and delivered their strongest stretch of the game.
The third quarter proved decisive. Dubai outscored the visitors 32:22, opening up a lead that reached as many as 21 points and entering the final period with a commanding 76:57 advantage. From there, the home side managed the closing minutes efficiently, preventing any realistic chance of a comeback and closing the game with a 16-point margin.
Dwayne Bacon led all scorers with 23 points, adding six rebounds and two assists in a highly efficient performance. Aleksa Avramović followed with 14 points, contributing on both ends of the court and playing a key role during Dubai’s decisive runs. While Awudu Abass finished the game with 12 points, 3 rebounds, and 2 steals.
Statistically, Dubai held the advantage across key areas, including shooting efficiency, rebounding, and ball movement. Despite committing a higher number of turnovers than usual, the hosts compensated with superior shot selection and defensive pressure, which consistently disrupted Igokea’s offensive rhythm.
With a perfect 15–0 record, Dubai continue to set the pace in the AdmiralBet ABA League and maintain full control of their position at the top of group B ahead of the league’s Top 8 phase.
Dubai now turn their attention forward, having successfully handled their regional obligations and preserved momentum heading into a demanding upcoming schedule. In a EuroLeague double-week, Dubai Basketball hosts Olympiacos and Real Madrid in Coca-Cola Arena.
