Dubai Basketball Fall to Partizan in EuroLeague Round 30

Dubai Basketball fell to a 88:74 road defeat against Partizan Mozzart Bet in their rescheduled EuroLeague Round 30 matchup at the Belgrade Arena, despite a strong start and prolonged periods of control in the first half.

The game opened with Dubai setting the tone early. The visiting side executed efficiently on both ends, jumping out to a 6โ€“0 lead and quickly extending the margin to 12โ€“4. Their offensive rhythm remained consistent throughout the first quarter, allowing them to build a solid advantage and close the opening period ahead 26โ€“18.

Dubai continued to dictate tempo into the second quarter. Ball movement and interior presence created further separation, with the lead growing into double digits and peaking at 16 points. Contributions were spread across the lineup, with Mfiondu Kabengele leading the way with 14 points and five rebounds, while Dลฝanan Musa added 10. The team maintained offensive balance and composure, entering the closing minutes of the half in firm control.

However, a late response from Partizan reduced the gap before halftime, cutting Dubaiโ€™s lead to 38:47 and shifting momentum heading into the break.

The turning point came in the third quarter. Dubaiโ€™s offense stalled significantly, managing just 10 points in the period, while Partizan responded with a decisive 25:10 run. The home sideโ€™s defensive pressure increased, disrupting Dubaiโ€™s shot selection and limiting transition opportunities. What had been a controlled game for Dubai quickly turned into a deficit, as Partizan moved ahead and entered the final quarter with a six-point advantage.

Dubai attempted to recover in the fourth quarter and briefly regained the lead during a more aggressive stretch. Justin Anderson, McKinley Wright, and Filip Petruลกev all contributed in this phase, helping Dubai stay within reach and keep the outcome open midway through the period.

Still, the closing minutes belonged to Partizan. Key defensive sequences and efficient execution down the stretch allowed the hosts to pull away once more, ultimately sealing the 14-point win.

Dubai now turns its focus to the final stretch of the regular season, with playoff positioning still within reach.
