Dubai Basketball has signed French center Kevin Kokila, who will continue his development on loan at Virtus Bologna before joining the club in the future. The 24-year-old, 2.04-meter big man arrives after establishing himself as one of the most promising young centers in French basketball, combining size, athleticism and physicality around the basket.

During the 2025/26 season, Kokila helped JL Bourg win the EuroCup, playing an important role throughout the campaign. He averaged 9.6 points, 5.8 rebounds and shot 67% from the field in the French League. In the EuroCup, he recorded 7.7 points and 4.5 rebounds per game, continuing to show his efficiency around the rim and his ability to impact the game on both ends of the floor.

Kokila is an athletic center who excels as a rim runner, rebounder and interior finisher. His mobility, defensive presence and ability to protect the rim make him an ideal modern big man, while his physical profile gives him significant room for further development.

By signing Kokila and allowing him to continue his progression on loan at Virtus Bologna, Dubai Basketball provides him with the opportunity to compete at the highest European level before becoming part of the club’s long-term project.
