Dubai Basketball’s EuroLeague Play-In Chances Go Down to Final Round

Dubai Basketball’s EuroLeague Play-In Chances Go Down to Final Round

With one game remaining in the EuroLeague regular season, Dubai Basketball enter Round 38 with a clear and direct path to the play-in tournament.

Dubai can only qualify for the play-ins with a victory in its final game combined with a loss for FC Barcelona. In that scenario, Dubai would finish the regular season in 10th place, securing the final play-in position.
Any other outcome would see Dubai eliminated.

A Barcelona win results in elimination regardless of Dubai’s result. A Dubai loss also ends the team’s postseason hopes.

While Dubai’s maximum finish is 10th, the battle for 9th place -and a higher play-in seeding- remains open between multiple teams. Panathinaikos AKTOR Athens, Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet Belgrade, ans AS Monaco are all in contention to finish ninth depending on final round results.

Should Dubai qualify, the team would face one of these opponents in the play-in stage.

The final round will determine whether Dubai Basketball’s debut EuroLeague campaign extends into the postseason.
