Dubai Basketball lose against Valencia in final round of EuroLeague regular season
Dubai Basketball have finished its first-ever EuroLeague season, following an 85:95 home defeat against Valencia Basket in Round 38 of the regular season.
Our team ended the campaign in 11th place, narrowly missing out on a Top 10 spot and the Play-In, but leaving behind a season filled with growth, resilience and memorable performances on Europeโs biggest stage.
Valencia Basket opened the game in rhythm, taking control early and finishing the first quarter in front – 24:19. However, Dubai Basketball showed character in the second period, stepping up both offensively and defensively.
Late in the second quarter, our boys found their flow, stringing together key possessions to turn the game around. That surge allowed Dubai Basketball to take a narrow halftime lead – 47:45 – in what was clearly the teamโs best stretch of the night.
However, the turning point came immediately after the break.
Valencia Basket dominated the third quarter, imposing their tempo and executing efficiently on both ends of the floor. The visitors won the period 34:20, swinging the momentum back in their favor and building a crucial double-digit lead heading into the final quarter.
Dubai Basketball attempted to respond in the fourth quarter, showing fight and determination to get back into the game. Despite the effort, Valencia managed the lead with experience and composure, ultimately closing out the contest and securing the win.
For Dubai Basketball, Dลพanan Musa led the scoring with 21 points, while Davis Bertans added 17 points in the final game of the 2025/26 EuroLeague season.
